Welcome to my original music MP3 page. These are some of the songs I've written and recorded over the years, presented here for my fans. As with the other songs on this website, the files are encoded in MP3Pro format (96k) and will sound best when played back through a player that utilizes MP3Pro decoders, such as MusicMatch Jukebox and Winamp. (Windows Media Player does not have the MP3Pro decoders, so playback on this player will have some of the high end frequencies missing.)   This is my latest composition. It's very simple in structure and instrumentation, featuring acoustic guitar, woodwinds and strings. It's meant to be a peaceful, soothing song for troubled times.

  I revisited this song recently and decided to do a remake of my own song.  The original appeared on my 1978 Polydor Album "New York Disco Orchestra". I like this new "laid back" version much better than the disco version. The inspiration for this song came from reading a physics textbook, believe it or not!

  Written and recorded in the early 1980's, this is a love story set in outer space, however the love affair goes unresolved. Recorded at RCA studios in NYC with Joaquin J. Lopes producing and engineering, I played the drums (twice: I recorded two separate takes of drums and merged them together, a trick I learned from John Lennon), pianos, Prophet-V, while my brother Rocco played the acoustic guitars.

  Another song I wrote and recorded in the early 1980's, first as a rock song, and then a few years later as a ballad without drums. Most of the sounds were done on a Sequential Circuits Prophet V synthesizer and a Fender Rhodes suitcase piano that weighed a ton. My brother Rocco plays the 12-string acoustic guitar, which has a harpsichord-like effect.

  This is the first track from my 1978 Polydor Records release "The New York Disco Orchestra". It's an arrangement of Claude Debussy's beautiful piece, done with a Sequential Circuits Prophet V synthesizer, a Vako Orchestron, full horn section, and of course, the band at the time. I was inspired after hearing Japanese synthesist Isao Tomita's rendition of Debussy's music. Incidentally, this track was most successful in Japan, where it was also released on Polydor. My brother Rocco plays the Gibson SG.
